Is Spinal Decompression Right For You?

I am so excited to announce a new therapy to my practice. I am now offering Spinal Decompression Therapy in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments to help my patients recover faster from herniated discs, degenerated discs and facet syndromes.
I have been using this treatment for over 6 months now with current patients who suffer with neck pain, low back pain and numbness and tingling in the arms and legs. The results have been incredible and patients are getting back to health faster than ever!
Spinal decompression therapy helps injured and degenerated discs heal faster by applying a gentle pulling force that tractions the spine. This traction reduces the disc pressure, promoting a retraction of any protruding disc material and a positive change in the amount of fluid inside the disc. The body's natural repair process is stimulated, resulting in a faster rate of healing. That's great news for people whose daily life is affected by debilitating disc pain.
Research show that 86% of patients who use decompression therapy report immediate resolution of symptoms and 84% continued to be pain free after 90 days.

What Should You Expect During Your Visit?
Most people choose to get adjusted and have decompression in the same session. Depending on how severe the disc problem is, we may spend up to 30 minutes each visit. The decompression therapy is painless, often a very pleasant sensation and patients will commonly describe a feeling of 'immediate relief of pain, numbness and tingling' during the session.
Can It Help YOU?
Though each patient's experience with decompression is different, results show an 86% effectiveness rate. Your treatment plan will include adjustments to the spine, decompression, targeted stretching and trigger point work and some assignments for you to work on at home. The more you stick with the suggested program, the more effective your therapy will be. Every body heals at different rates and with varying ability. A personal consultation with Dr. Heidi will allow you the time to discuss your individual potential.
How Much Will It Cost?
At this time I am offering decompression therapy to new patients at no additional charge. Other clinics charge between $100-200 per visit for decompression. As this is a part of my chiropractic practice, not a physical therapy or pain clinic, I would like to continue to offer this service to patients at a very reasonable fee. Since I haven't developed a fee schedule yet, I will continue to offer this service as a complement to chiropractic adjustments.
When Can You Begin?
